Founder Marya Triandafellos' varied and rich experiences
in the arts and business led her to Billijam, where her love of
creating and designing experiential environments is being realized. Previously, Marya headed up a successful web design and branding company, MET Design, Inc., and produced over 200 websites for corporate clients such as IBM, McCann Erickson, ABC News, Merrill Lynch and Group M (WPP), as well as for many start-ups and small businesses.
Over a five-year period, she produced over 100 videos for a NYC local cable network. Four of the video documentaries were awarded production grants, and two were accepted and screened in film festivals. Since 2004 she has brought her entrepreneurial and artistic vision to Billijam to define a new direction in the art world, utilizing fine art to empower a brand experience.
